First National Bank of America is seeking a motivated and experienced Site Reliability Engineer to assist in the modernization and maintenance of our internal systems. Interested candidates should be excited by the opportunity to work within a team, be passionate about building automation, prioritize infrastructure as code, testing changes thoroughly, and to minimize manual production changes to systems.

Location: On-site in our East Lansing, MI office

Responsibilities

Support the availability, latency, performance, efficiency, change management, monitoring, emergency response, and capacity planning of critical FNBA systems.

Participate in multiple pronged effort to update FNBA's infrastructure and network environment

Maintain existing tooling & processes

Prioritize site reliability, security, and efficiency

Provide administrative support for: Git, GitHub Actions, Elastic/Kibana, Maven, Microsoft SQL Server, Docker, Selenium

Troubleshoot incidents user issues as assigned

Qualifications

5+ years professional experience in any combination of the following roles:

Site Reliability or DevOps Engineer with a focus on infrastructure and configuration as code

Software Developer with a knack for infrastructure and application hosting management

System Administrator with a knack for scripting, code reuse, and automation

Experience with Ansible or declarative use of other infrastructure-as-code platforms

Working experience with: Git, Windows Administration, Active Directory, Powershell, Linux, VMware, Networking
