Job Title: Quantity Surveyor

Location: Portadown, Northern Ireland

Salary: up to £70,000 per annum

Are you an experienced Quantity Surveyor seeking a new opportunity? An internationally renowned company, headquartered in Portadown, is expanding its team, and looking for a skilled Quantity Surveyor to join their ranks.

This esteemed company, with over 50 years of industry experience, specialises in providing bespoke joinery services globally. They are recognised for their top-notch craftsmanship and cater to various markets including Luxury Hospitality, Marine Outfitters, Super Prime Residentials, Education, Commercial Offices, and Themed Attractions.

Based at their Head Office in Portadown, Co. Armagh, this role offers the chance to work on diverse and high-end projects with minimal travel required (1-2 days per month). As a Quantity Surveyor, you'll play a vital role in the commercial management of projects, collaborating closely with the Project Management team in client-facing capacities.

Your responsibilities will include:

Preparing and submitting valuations.

Managing variation quotations.

Procuring and overseeing subcontractor accounts.

Administering subcontractor documents.

Reviewing main contract documents and offering contractual advice.

Preparing Monthly CVR/Cost Reports and final accounts.

Conducting value engineering and risk management.

To excel in this role, you'll need:

A relevant third level qualification such as Quantity Surveying or Construction Management.

At least three years of post-qualification experience in a similar role.

Proficiency in IT skills.

Strong technical ability to analyse various design, contractual, and technical documents.

Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work well in a team.
