Senior Developer Innovation Apparel

YOUR MISSION

Develop strong ties with industry suppliers to explore garment/accessories manufacturing methods to create new solutions

Monitor, identify, evaluate, share and present emerging market trends at the garment/accessories construction and process levels to the team

Visit tradeshows within the garment arena and beyond to build up a portfolio of new inspiration. Use your explorative mindset to support your network connections

Develop new and innovative solutions for performance apparel concepts – through architecture, styling, wearables and further, using your products experience

Explore and motivate the material suppliers to create material innovation projects and define the structure of each project

Bring ideas and inspiring concepts to the table on a regular basis, based on research and ability to absorb external trends. Translate ideas and concepts to suit the needs of PUMA

Nurture high level, professional relationships with external suppliers and vendors; existing and be able to identify new partners. Travel across the region to local suppliers and factories on a regular basis

YOUR TALENT

Degree in Textile / Fashion / Clothing related discipline

5-8 years’ experience in Apparel Material industry

Creativity, entrepreneurial spirit and imitative

Strong overall business acumen

Strong knowledge of Apparel/Textile/Accessories industry, manufacturing processes and materials

Good command of spoken and written English, Mandarin and Cantonese

Candidate with less experience will be considered as Developer role
