Meet the Team:

This role will support Environmental Health, Safety and Sustainability (EHSS) promulgation and implementation to ensure company compliance and importantly employee’s safety. You will be a super hero at Dexcom supporting the Dexcom planet having a primary objective of zero accidents.

Where you come in:

Coordinates and monitors the implementation of Environmental Health and Safety or Occupational Safety and Health programs

Monitors the compliance to the regulatory requirements and legislations of DOLE and DENR in relation to the implementation of EHS

Conducts regular inspections and timely safety assessments to identify hazards and substandard work practices

Coordinates emergency response requirements including deployment, training and testing procedures in preparation for emergency scenarios to return to business as usual operations

Primarily assists in activities related to safety and health programs, drills, training, committee meetings, safety evaluations and audits

Promote EHS awareness, behavior-based safety including off-the-job safety to bring all workers to have a safety mindset

Prepares and submit required reportorial to DOLE and DENR on timely basis

Communicates effectively on EHS related performance to achieve optimum compliance standards and best practices

Promulgate pollution control measures in compliance with DENR environmental reporting as required

Work closely in BCP and DR programs to provide support and response activities

Completes all special projects and other duties as assigned

What makes you successful:

The candidate should have a Bachelor/Academic degree on Engineering, Nursing, Business Administration or any degree with relevant experience in Occupational Safety and Health

Must be a DOLE accredited Safety Officer (at least SO2 but should be eligible to take SO3 accreditation); Holder of Safety Practitioner License with BOSH, LCM and/or advance safety trainings

Preferably Safety Officer or Supervisor specializing in Shared Services or IT-BPO operation
