Jr. Quality Assurance Specialist

PRIMARY ROLE ON QUALITY ASSURANCE

Creation of quality and complete test plan and test script to test functionality, performance, stability, and compatibility with other systems.

Executes testing based on the test script on a timely and complete fashion.

Properly documents his/her findings and can communicate this properly to the Scrum Team or project stakeholders.

Conducts regression testing to ensure the consistency and stability of a solution.

Participate and interact in regular team-based meetings and skill share sessions to help the team improve.

SUPPORT ROLE ON QUALITY ASSURANCE

Look for ways to improve ways of working including implementation of new QA tools and services such as automated regression testing

Works with Product Owners to implement UAC standards that help prevent common issues or common bugs from reoccurring.

Work with other members of the team to check on to help prevent common issues or common bugs from reoccurring.

Provides insightful and out-of-the-box solutions to bugs and enhancements that may be found during testing.

Requirements

A bachelor’s degree in IT, computer science, management, or other related fields.

Exceptional analytical and conceptual thinking skills.

The ability to influence stakeholders and work closely with them to determine acceptable solutions.

Excellent documentation skills.

Excellent planning, organizational, time management skills, and following through on commitments.

A history of leading and supporting successful projects.

Candidates must be willing to work on-site if required, but will otherwise have the flexibility to work from anywhere.
