Civil Engineer (PE)
Whatcom County multi-disciplinary civil engineering firm specializing in Land Development, Construction Management, Storm Drainage, Site Design, Storm Water Management and Land & Construction Surveying, is hiring. We are a growing firm looking to fill one position. Applicants should be self-motivated and possess good communication and time management skills. This position requires working in a team setting in our Ferndale office.

Job Description
• Knowledge of the WSDOE Stormwater Manual. Experience in preparing drainage reports.
• Prepare plans and specification for municipal projects.
• Design of erosion control, grading, storm drainage, sanitary sewer, water distribution systems, and street improvements.
• Storm drainage calculations, technical specifications, construction cost estimates, technical reports, and other supporting documentation for completion of land development projects.
• Communicate with client and agencies.
• Assist with and/or coordinate permitting efforts.
• Provide construction support and observation on land development projects.
• Assist in preparing RFP, RFQ and proposals.
Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering (BSCE).
• Registered Professional Engineer in Washington State.
• 4+ years of civil engineering design experience preferred.
• Storm water and drainage experience.
• Must be proficient in AutoCAD Civil 3D, Microsoft Word, Excel, Project, PowerPoint.
• Self-motivated with good verbal and written communication skills.
