Software Development Project Manager (Onsite)

Key Responsibilities:

Lead a team of Java-based software developers and testers in the design, development, integration and support of enterprise applications and systems in a cloud environment

Manage budgets and project planning to ensure successful project delivery to clients

Lead teams to be more T-shaped

Supervise performance and professional development for technical members of team

Gather requirements and develop a business case for project portfolio management, including high level cost estimates

Create Project plans, including budget, issues list, action items, and status reports as well as adhere to internal project methodologies and plan releases

Skills & Qualifications:

7+ years of software development experience, with a broad understanding of application development and technical architecture in a cloud environment (Note: will not be coding but must be comfortable performing code reviews)

2+ years experience managing software development or SDET teams in a cloud environment

Strong back-end experience in Java preferred (also open to .NET experience)

Knowledge of AWS or related cloud technologies

Must have experience building and developing teams of direct-report developers

Offshore team management experience is a plus

Education/Certifications:

Bachelor’s degree desired

PMP Certification preferred, or willing to obtain certification within 12 months of being hired

Agile certified (SCRUM preferred)
