We're seeking an Account Supervisor to act as a strategic leader and client liaison overseeing an account team and executing creative PR strategy. You'll maintain excellent relations between the agency and the client. You'll participate in PR and influencer marketing management and strategic client planning while guiding junior team members—and more.

Who should consider applying?

Candidates with professional PR account management experience including facilitating and maintaining excellent media relationships, securing consistent top-tier press coverage, overseeing influencer seeding and paid partnerships, and executing flawless events. You have also supported and developed strategic press and influencer marketing campaigns. Successful candidates will have a strong PR account management portfolio and proven ability to multitask, execute, lead and maintain composure in a very fast-paced environment.

Location: LA HQ in Beverly Hills. Monday-Thursday in office, Friday WFH

Experience: 7+ years full-time working experience in beauty PR. Must have agency experience and currently live in the NY Metropolitan area.

General Responsibilities:

Work cohesively and supportively alongside Vice President and Founder/CEO

Have and maintain solid relationships with beauty and business/trade editors and influencers in the beauty, wellness, and lifestyle spaces

Handle important client communications and continually raise the bar across all initiatives, press, influencer and experiential activations by running meetings and conference calls in a professional, educational and confident manner

Maintain client relationship(s) and expectations; delivering top notch assignments on time while managing project expectations

Monitor media, beauty and general lifestyle trends; ensuring the team creates new strategies and pitch angles, and reports ever changing landscapes to clients

Maintaining our position as the forefront of the marketing industry by increasing our thought leadership, knowledge of current trends, strategies and market research including attending seminars, panels, conferences, and attending virtual learning opps etc.

Have a thorough background and immersive understanding of all social media platforms, specifically TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube, including trends, functionality, tools, performance, influencer marketing, and analytics

Key insight of influencer pricing and scale, and ability to secure reduced rates while maintaining meaningful and on brand campaigns for CCM clients

Strong contract negotiation and writing skills, while coordinating paid content partnerships, including deal points and deliverables

Oversee coverage platforms to increase analytic reporting for clients and campaigns

Creative mindset, constantly churning out innovative ideas for projects and story angles

Press outreach and management alongside AE/AAE on agency accounts - including all writing, pitching, research, product seeding, executive visibility

Escalate client needs and expectations to VP/CEO as needed

Team Management:

Create an inspiring workplace environment with an open communication culture

Mentor, lead and guide team with a positive attitude and professional tone

Maintain organized team action item lists, delivering clear directive and expectations

Delegate tasks and set deadlines; adjusting systems in place as needed

Set and track clear team goals for team, while monitoring team performance

Client Responsibilities:

Brainstorm, ideate, and conceptualize for client, compiling relevant and creative outreach lists, pitch angles and activations

Serve as key agency point of contact for day-to-day client communication

Lead client status calls, giving comprehensive, concise and clear updates on campaign management

Responsible for securing strong and consistent press and influencer coverage with significant results from strategic pitching, seeding and partnerships across client roster

Drive day-to-day account needs, including but not limited to ongoing press outreach, influencer campaigns and influencer strategy, monitoring, research, product seeding, executive visibility, and client strategy

Develop and execute forward-thinking communications strategies and tactics for clients while securing consistent client mentions across editorial landscape

Oversee team to ensure that all research and working documents needed on each account have been properly executed

Ensure account deliverables are executed and client relationships remain positive

Show proactivity, resourcefulness and tenacity in problem solving

Create and provide comprehensive campaign and activation recaps that are visually impressive and show ROI

Extremely close media contacts - digital, broadcast, print; confident in securing strong press placements on a weekly basis
