Job Summary

The Global Information Technology organization understands, supports and enables the business strategies, goals, and priorities. We are currently implementing substantial amounts of new technology including SAP S/4HANA, Integrated Business Planning, Product Life Cycle Management, SAP MDG, Sourcing solutions and many other applications as part of organizations business transformation roadmap.

As SAP Master Data Management Technical Lead, you will be responsible for leading the planning, development and implementation of (MDM) and relevant software solutions that align to the Information Technology roadmap and business strategies. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure master data accuracy, consistency, and strategic utilization. This role will encompass MDM governance, data modeling, integration, and driving our overall data strategy.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, business analysts, data stewards, and business stakeholders to understand master data requirements and provide effective MDM solutions.

Provide MDG data governance leadership including design and development in ETL, and data quality relevant processes and solutions including SAP Data Services, Information Steward, and data quality solutions.

Design and develop a large-scale SAP MDG implementation, performing hands on development and configuration of the SAP MDG system alongside a team of both internal and external team members.

Responsible for creation of data conversion technical specifications, data validation, and testing out solutions during unit testing.

Lead setup, roll-out and updates of MDM solutions and tools, ensuring effective integration with other systems.

Ensure that master data management processes are compliant with relevant regulations, audit controls and data security policies.

Provide best practice technical and development guidance, coaching and support to other development team members.

Conduct code reviews and implement best practices on development methodologies with both internal and external developers.

Regularly assess the MDM processes, tools, and policies and recommend improvements.

Complete other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience Profile

B.S. degree in an Information Technology or a related field; appropriate experience may be considered in lieu of degree

A minimum of 10 years of experience in an Information Technology or related role

A minimum of 6 years developing in MDM/SAP MDG roles

A minimum of 6 years developing in Data Migration/ETL tools. Preference in SAP Data Services, Information Steward, and/or ADM-Advanced Data Migration

A minimum of 6 years of SAP ECC experience

A minimum of 3 years of SAP S/4 Hana experience

Extensive expertise in the MDG Framework, BRF+ configuration and Workflow, and ESOA integration

Proven in-depth experience in designing, developing, and implementing Data Management, Data Governance, Data Process, Data Quality, and Data Migration/ETL solutions.

Proven in-depth experience in designing and developing in SAP MDG

Experience integrating SAP/MDG to external systems

Experience in designing, developing, and executing ETL concepts and solutions is strongly preferred

Experience in manufacturing solutions is strongly preferred

Required Skills

Must be an MDM/SAP MDG expert with additional knowledge of SAP ECC and SAP S4 Hana

Knowledgeable of SAP master data structures and processes across Supply Chain, OTC, and Finance

Knowledge of LTMC and Data Services

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Must be able to perform duties within a work team to maximize the team effectiveness

Ability to distinguish between technical and process problems and/or solutions

Ability to work effectively with both technical and business
