As a Hotel Services Assistant, you’ll be part of an experienced, engaged and dedicated team helping to create a welcoming, professional and supportive care experience for the residents of St Vincent’s Care Services Douglas.

Located by the Ross River in sunny Townsville and close to Townsville Hospital and James Cook University, St Vincent’s Care Services Douglas will deliver outstanding levels of wellbeing and comfort for our residents and a positive uplifting work/life balance for our staff.

Things that work for us:

Experience in an aged care facility or hospital environment providing services that support high quality cleaning outcomes for residents, customers and staff of the facility, including cleaning, laundry and food services

Previous experience in a housekeeping services environment

Chemical handling experience and knowledge

Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills

Ability to follow directives as per care plan

Understanding of Aged Care and resident rights and responsibilities

Current flu and COVID-19 vaccination and National Police Certificate (within the last 6 months)

NDIS Worker Screening Check may be a requirement of this role.
