Our Downtown Hospital is looking for locum breast surgery coverage July 2024 through December 2024 with possible extension!

Documentation System/EMR: Epic

Number of Operating Rooms: 28 across to hospitals

Number of General Surgeons in Practice: 9

Patient Age Demographic: Adult, geriatricProcedures Required:

General Surgical Cases ADULT

Breast Surgery

Cholecystectomy

HernioplastyTravel Requirements:

Facility will reimburse flight, hotel, car rental, mileage billed at the IRS Standard Rate.

All other bookings must be standard/economy

Lodging must be $150/night

Anything beyond these parameters must be approved Estimated Credentialing Timeframe: 90 days for full privileges; 2 weeks for temporary privileges

SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS

Board Certified General Surgery - REQUIRED

BLS Certified - REQUIRED

Active SC license & DEA - REQUIRED

Clean background (medical & criminal) - REQUIRED

Breast Surgery Fellowship - Highly Preferred; must at least have extensive training
