Job Description
We are seeking an Administrative Assistant HR to join our team! Candidate will provide administrative support to the Human Resources department and will serve as the main reception to our corporate office.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Answers and directs departmental phone calls.
Receives and distributes office mail
Serves as the receptionist for the office, greeting visitors and applicants.
Prepares meeting agendas and takes notes Schedules and organizes appointments.
Directs office activities and functions to maintain efficiency and compliance with company policies.
Proofreads and types documents and correspondence produced by department.
Processes required paperwork for employee transfers, changes in job classification, salary increases, and other related employment matters.
Assist with preparation of human resource reports such as attendance, new hire, and turnover reports.
Presents a positive and professional image for the organization.
Oversee breakroom tidiness and stock of supplies
Qualifications:
Previous experience in Human Resources, recruiting, or other related fields
Extensive knowledge of office management systems and procedures
Ability to build rapport with all employees
Strong organizational skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to maintain confidential information
Ability to type 60 words a minute
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.
Ability to operate general office equipment
Education and Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Two years of administrative assistant experience preferred.
Physical Requirements:
Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times
