Job Description

Teeccino, a family-owned natural food company that markets herbal beverages with a full production facility in Oxnard CA, is hiring a bookkeeper to assist our Staff Accountant. We are a mission-driven company that works with international suppliers, distributors, and e-tailers like Amazon. This position will be responsible for recording daily and weekly transactions in QuickBooks Enterprise which is linked to Acctivate, our manufacturing management system. We have a supportive team spirit and this is a good opportunity to grow your bookkeeping and accounting skills.

Your responsibilities will include:

· Importing payments from Acctivate to QuickBooks from Teeccino websites on Shopify, and our payments that come through PayPal, Flipshop, Faire, Walmart etc

Adjusting sales import in QuickBook for refunds, etc

Invoicing sales for Wholesale, Ecommerce, Distributors and Direct-to-Consumer

Creating and coding all Distributor Manufacturer Charge Backs (MCBs) in QuickBooks

Creating disputes with Distributors for erroneous MCBs

Issuing credit memos

Entering supplier invoices for raw materials into Accitvate

Entering other vendor invoices into QuickBooks

Coding credit cards to GL lines

Preparing brokers’ commissions report

Creating “A/R aging” refunds for Direct-to-Consumer customers and make adjustments from overcharges on Teeccino.com

Skills Required:

AA in business administration or a more advanced degree

Prior bookkeeping experience of 2+ years preferred.

Knowledge of QuickBooks or similar accounting system

Strong attention to detail

Knowledge of Excel
