The Customer Sales Manager plays a crucial role in leading their sales team by promoting a culture that drives the optimum customer experience. The Customer Sales Manager acts as a role model and holds associates accountable for meeting and exceeding customer service standards.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Support and Skills Training for Sales Team:

- Provide comprehensive support and ongoing training sessions to the sales team, focusing on enhancing their sales techniques and product knowledge.

2. Management of Customer Standing Orders:

- Regularly review and manage weekly and monthly customer standing orders, ensuring they are accurate and up-to-date. Modify orders as necessary to meet customer needs and company objectives.

3. Customer Interaction Support:

- Assist the sales staff in handling incoming calls, addressing customer inquiries, and providing support during customer interactions. Set a positive example by delivering exceptional customer service.

4. Resolution of Problematic Orders:

- Take charge of addressing and resolving any issues with orders promptly and efficiently, ensuring customer satisfaction and maintaining positive relationships.

5. Collaboration with Order Control Specialist:

- Work closely with the Order Control to review and approve order details before they are forwarded to the design team, ensuring accuracy and completeness.

6. Coaching and Feedback:

- Offer continuous coaching, guidance, and constructive feedback to the sales team to help them improve their performance and achieve their targets. Implement formal corrective actions when necessary.

7. Employee Performance Reviews:

- Conduct regular performance reviews for sales team members, assessing their achievements, strengths, areas for improvement, and goal progress. Provide feedback to facilitate professional development.

8. Interdepartmental Collaboration:

- Collaborate with other departments within the organization to address any product or service-related issues, ensuring timely resolution and maintaining seamless operations.

Qualifications:

- Proven experience in sales / management or a related field, preferably in the retail or floral - industry.

- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams.

- Leadership qualities with a focus on team development and performance improvement.

Education:

- Bachelor's degree in business, or a related field is preferred.

- Proven related work history success will also be considered.
