Field Service Technician

Job Description

Responsibilities

Installation and start-up of equipment at customer's facilities

Customer training upon completion of install

Provide technical support/troubleshoot equipment after install

Mark up drawings and sequence of operation and then work with engineering so final builds can be completed

Requirements

Must be willing to travel extensively (home on the weekends)

High School Diploma or equivalent

2 year degree or equivalent experience in electrical/mechanical engineering or related field

3 years experience in Commercial HVAC and DDC Controls

Understanding of PLC/HMI/communication protocol

Read and understand PLC programming and ladder schematics

Allen Bradley experience is a huge plus

Understanding of BAS Communication Protocols (BACnet, LonWorks, ModBus, etc)
