Your team

Operating as part of the Customer Safety Product function, the role of the Head of Product – Customer Safety will seek to build the future strategy and shape the product roadmap that will deliver against the UK&I ambition for the industry for customer safety and trust.

Working with the Customer Safety tribe you will be leading a team of product management professionals, and will be committed to continuous improvement, be passionate about building capability and developing others, as well as yourself. You should be no stranger to pushing the boundaries that sets us apart from our competitors and positions us as the leader in customer safety in our industry.

What you’ll do

Devise Customer Safety strategies that can respond to regulatory and market conditions faster than the competition. Choose and build the right things for long term efficiency and scale.

Build and leverage UK&I relationships to build a compelling strategy. Work closely with our teammates in the wider Customer Safety Tribe, as well as UK&I Product and Technology functions, to create a system of knowledge across the Group around best practice and strategy. Be responsible for the creation and distribution of this information to place the customer at the centre of what we do and the decisions that are made.

Consciously identify and build upon group assets that will benefit the UK&I division especially in the area of Safety.

Work alongside the Cactus / digital transformation programme to ensure the timely and effective delivery of initiatives to support Customer Safety

Manage key stakeholders including Brand, Finance, Operations, Safety, and incorporate their requirements into the Safety product roadmaps.

How you’ll do it

Work closely with key UK&I colleagues to establish the key Customer Safety initiatives that will be progressed.

Work closely with Technology colleagues to review the technical delivery options taking into account timing, desire for efficiency and regulatory compliance.

Ongoing analysis of competitors, customers and product usage and delivery capability to ensure the right products and services are delivered as required and to schedule.

Ensure efficiency and effectiveness of Safety development work against strategy and relevant budgets.

Directly responsible for the performance and professional development of the Product team.
