DBA

Our database team is expanding, as a Development DBA with Oracle & PL/SQL you be part of our cross-functional team. You will focus on design and build, of shared platform infrastructure to maximize availability, reliability and performance. Analyzing and troubleshooting performance related issues.

We work in a complex, distributed environment and continually strive to improve systems capacity, increase speed, ensure stability and mitigate risk in every system.

What we’re looking for

Minimum 5 years’ DBA experience, Oracle required

Excellent understanding of SQL and PL/SQL performance tuning and database optimisation

Experience building Highly Availability infrastructure

Strong Understanding of Linux platforms (RHEL, SUSE)

Strong scripting ability with bash, python and proficiency with configuration management tools like Ansible.

Ability to work quickly in fast-paced environment and under pressure

Capable of working independently and can self-assign work to be productive

Experience of change management processes

Experience serving in a production support role including a 24x7 on-call rotation
