DARS, Inc. Manos House is a residential drug and alcohol treatment program for adolescent males, which provides a wide array of counseling and supportive services over a three to five month treatment experience. Additional information associated with our treatment program can be found at
We are seeking to fill an opening for a full-time counselor whose job responsibilities include, but are not limited to completing individual, group, and family therapies, as well as facilitating psycho-educational groups and Aggression Replacement Training (ART) under the supervision of the Clinical Director. Counselors work closely with one another to ensure the best care for clients, utilizing a team-oriented mentality and creative means to meet individual client needs. Knowledge of CBT, Motivational Interviewing and the Stages of Change are helpful for the new counselor.
Qualifications:
Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in a Human Service field: Psychology, Sociology, Social Work, or other related fields with a concentration in substance abuse treatment
Master’s Degree preferred
Current PCB certification (CADC, CAADC, etc.) preferred
Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record

Salary: $42,000.00 - $52,000.00 per year
