Job Description
Requirements:
- At least one year workers' compensation experience.
- Litigation experience also a must.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct legal research and analysis on various legal issues
- Draft and review legal documents, including contracts, pleadings, and briefs
- Assist with case management and preparation for hearings, trials, and depositions
- Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and other parties involved in legal matters
- Attend meetings, conferences, and court proceedings as required
- Maintain accurate and organized case files and documentation
- Provide legal advice and guidance to clients
-Trial work a must
Skills:
- Strong legal research and writing skills
- Proficiency in using legal research platforms such as Lexis-Nexis and Westlaw
- Ability to draft and review legal documents with attention to detail
- Knowledge of legal administrative procedures and practices
- Ability to effectively communicate complex legal concepts to clients and colleagues
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Strong negotiation skills to resolve disputes effectively
