Join a premier well established Internal Medicine Practice that offers a stable and secure full-time position with excellent compensation per market standards. We are a team of 2 Doctors and 2 Advanced Practitioners. We are seeking an experienced Medical Scribe/ Administrative Assistant, who is a team player with a positive attitude, and has a focus on providing excellent customer service to our patients.. Require minimum 2+ years of experience as a Medical Scribe/Administrative Assistant
Compensation: Base Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 (payable based on experience) + $1000 Annual Bonus (paid as biweekly performance bonus + additional benefits such as insurance,401k,paid vacation etc
This position requires Monday through Friday, no weekends
Job responsibilities :
* Obtain and update patient medical history, medication details. Must have good command with medical terminology.
* Medication calling/E-prescribing.
* Medication prior authorization.
* Insurance verification : Copay, coinsurance, deductible.
* Referral and Prior Authorizations.
* Answering phone calls : Provide feedback and answers to patient/physician/pharmacy calls.
* Scheduling appointment. Check in - Check out.
* Follows office policies, procedures, and protocols as appropriate.
* Keep exam rooms stocked with adequate medical supplies, maintain instruments.
Strong EMR and computer skills are highly recommended, as our clinic is currently on the Practice Fusion electronic medical records (EMR) system.
The ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment is important. The candidate must have had previous training/experience as a Medical Scribe /MAA (2+ years) in the medical office setting.
