Medical Office Receptionist with EPIC EHR Experience

Job Description

Busy Medical practice in San Mateo seeks Experienced Front Office Receptionist With EPIC EHR Experience for rewarding position, immediate start date. This is a full-time position in a busy two Physician Practice dedicated to improving the quality of care provided to patients. The right person for this job demonstrates professionalism, and is reliably punctual. Must have excellent computer skills, great people and patient communication skills and positive attitude. Excellent work ethic and exceptional attendance record required.

Work Schedule:

Monday - Friday: 9:00 am - 5:00 pm

Punctuality and excellent attendance required,

Must have prior medical office and EPIC Electronic Health Records experience.

Second language a plus.

Duties include:

Exemplary Ability to Multi-Task Priorities,

Greet patients,

Scheduling appointments, conduct reminder calls,

Excellent command of answering phones and promptly returning calls,

Set up video appointments,

Assist patients in completing any necessary documents/forms,

Receive payments from patients,

Maintain and accurately enter data into electronic health records system,

Obtain authorizations and referrals, limited insurance eligibility check,

Ensure timely, efficient patient flow,

Manage patient recalls,

Assist with related administrative duties as assigned,

Scan reports into EPIC EHR,

File.

This is a full-time position. Working as a team is essential.

Accrued PTO; Eligibility for Health Insurance after 3 months and Retirement Plan after one continuous year.

Salary is commensurate with qualifications and experience.
