Medical Assistant / Scribe (Dearborn)

Job Description

Our practice is growing and we are adding a full-time medical assistant to our team!

We are a busy cardiology practice with 4 locations (Dearborn, Taylor, Berkley, and Rochester) and 9 providers. This position primarily work in Dearborn but would be expected to cover the other locations if the need ever arose (cover vacations or sick coverage).

The ideal candidate is reliable, has a positive attitude, and great work ethic.

Duties:

Triage the patients by completing their intake, vitals, and EKG's

Scribe with doctors/mid-levels while they see the patients

Create and refill prescriptions as per office protocols

Complete medical forms such as FMLA, Disability, and orders

Answer calls and communicate effectively with patients and other medical professionals

Other misc. duties as needed

Qualifications:

Medical Assistant experience required

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment

Familiarity with medical terminology

Strong attention to detail and is organized
