SUMMARY:
The Administrative Coordinator/Trade Compliance position is associated with the issuance of export and import policies, procedures, methods, and practices to facilitate better implementation of company objectives.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
-- Process KYC global vettings for seafarers, vessels, corporations, and any associated individuals for both compliance with comprehensive nation-based embargoes and through a database which combines national and international lists of individuals, entities, or vessels of special concern.
-- Use critical thinking skills to resolve and document all KYC vettings that require further investigation.
-- Work effectively independently and in a collaborative environment.
-- Assist in upgrades to the KYC system.
-- Assist Manager, Trade Compliance on special projects
-- Manage export/import authorizations through their life cycle, including maintaining all applicable trade compliance records in compliance with regulatory and company requirements
-- Actualizes the daily landed cost report received from broker
-- Supports Assistant Manager on interacting with customs brokers, freight forwarders, vendors, product managers on resolution of compliance issues
-- Aids in assigning proper classification on all products
-- Verifies First Sale for Export transaction documentation to ensure unit price, quantity, and classification are properly provided and entries are correctly reported to customs
-- Receives photoset samples for Mock Store
-- Performs daily entry audit reviews and log onto an audit tool
-- Prepares monthly First Sale and QA duty saving reports
COMPUTER SKILLS REQUIRED:
Excel, Word, ERP (preferably SAP), Trade Management Software
QUALIFICATIONS:
-- 2 years of work experience in an office environment
-- College Degree Required
