Maintenance Electrician 5+ yrs experience

Job Description

· Requires strong electrical and mechanical knowledge and capabilities.

· Electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and PLC knowledge.

· Must be detail oriented and possess a working knowledge of industry specific information.

· Excellent organizational and analytical skills

· Good verbal and written communication skills

· Ability to read equipment manuals and follow sequence of repairs outlined by the manufacturer.

· Hands on experience with specialty tools and mechanical repairs

Required Education: List minimum education level required to be considered for position and preferred or specific majors.

Certification from college or technical school preferred but not required as demonstrable experience may be accepted in lieu of credentials.

Required Experience: (List minimum years and types of experience or industry required to be considered for the position.)

· 5 years of maintenance experience required

Must be able to work any required schedule needed for the facility needs.

· Working knowledge of electrical, electronic controls, hydraulics, pneumatics, mechanical, cutting, welding, fabrication, and tooling

· Must be able to read and follow blueprints and schematics

Ability to troubleshoot equipment in all the above-mentioned areas

Computer literacy with the ability to learn new computer software programs

Excellent written and oral communication skills

Attention to detail with strong organizational skills

Exceptional customer service skills

Heavy lifting may be required. Ability to lift and carry over 50 pounds alone, up to 100 pounds with assistance.
