Position: Data Engineering Lead (Permanent Direct Hire)

Maximum Salary: $188,700

Target Salary: $160,000

We're excited to announce a fantastic opportunity for a Data Engineering Lead to join our team in New York, NY. This is a permanent direct hire position with competitive compensation.

Role Description:

As the Data Engineering Lead, you will be at the forefront of defining and creating data architectures to meet the evolving needs of our business. Your role will encompass developing custom data models and algorithms, assessing new data sources, overseeing the data team, and collaborating with IT leadership to achieve organizational goals. Leveraging your expertise in various languages and tools, you will enhance data reliability, efficiency, and quality while introducing automation through effective metadata management.

Requirements:

Proficiencies:

Experience in designing, building, and managing data pipelines for data structures

Expertise with advanced analytics tools such as C#, Python, SQL, PL/SQL, SSIS, SSAS, and NoSQL/Hadoop-oriented databases

Strong experience with data integration technologies and popular data discovery, analytics, and BI software tools

Ability to troubleshoot complicated issues across multiple systems and effectively convey technical concepts to non-technical individuals

Financial data or legal industry data experience is a plus

Qualifications:

Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, statistics, applied mathematics, data management, information systems, information science, or related quantitative field

At least 8 years of experience in data management disciplines including data integration, modeling, optimization, and data quality

At least 5 years of experience working in cross-functional teams and collaborating with business stakeholders

Excellent verbal and written communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment
