IT System Administrator Tier II (MSP)

As one of the top growing I.T. services provider and consulting firms, we service many SMB clients including medical companies, insurance companies, financial firms, and nonprofits to name a few. We also have diverse service offerings including but not limited to Managed Services, IT Consulting, Cyber Security, and Cloud Solutions.

Currently, we are seeking an IT System Administrator Tier II to join our growing team, The ideal IT System Administrator Tier II is reliable, detail oriented, personable, and eager to advance their technical skill set.

IT System Administrator Tier II (MSP) Position Duties/Responsibilities:

Troubleshoots hardware/software/configuration/technical issues (received via ticketing system, email, phone, or in-person) and resolves to client satisfaction

Provides installation & configuration support of routers, servers, firewalls, & network equipment

Performs Configuration/Implementation/Management within Windows Server environments

Serves as an escalation point on the service desk and assist with project based work

IT System Administrator Tier II (MSP) Requirements:

3+ years experience working for a Managed Service Provider

Advance support for servers and other critical components in Azure

Knowledge and hands-on experience providing technical support to users using Microsoft 365 and Google

Excellent knowledge of the principles, methods, and techniques used in troubleshooting and support as well as servers, desktops, laptops, printers, peripherals, and network management software – this includes TCP/IP 4 routing /firewall/VLAN abilities

Extensive experience working and understanding working with VMware and/or Hyper-V

P2V and V2V migrations experience

Ticketing and RMM experience (ConnectWise and ITGlue)

IT System Administrator Tier II (MSP) Benefits:

Base salary $65,000-$75,000 (dependent on experience)
