The Quality Assurance Team Lead will manage the daily QA functions at company headquarters. Must have substantial experience in healthcare claims coding, documentation auditing, and leadership.
Responsibilities:
Ensure the accuracy and timeliness of chart note processing, and implement policies and procedures to optimize workflows
Analyze data and identify trends to inform decision-making and support strategic planning efforts
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including customer support, product development, and sales, to ensure effective communication and alignment on chart-related issues
Manage a team of documentation auditors and coders, providing leadership, guidance, and coaching to ensure high performance and engagement
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards for documentation and coding
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or related field; Master's degree preferred
10+ years of experience in healthcare documentation, coding, and/or revenue cycle, with at least 5 years in a management role
One of the following credentials: CPC, COC, CPMA, CPPM, CDEO, CPMS
Strong knowledge of documentation and coding processes and regulatory requirements
Experience with EHR/EMR technology
Excellent leadership and team management skills, with a proven track record of building and managing high-performing teams
