This exciting opportunity is for a Controls Engineer to help establish, maintain, and optimize automated manufacturing systems. This comes with great health benefits, relocation assistance if needed and stock option grants.
Key Responsibilities:
Establish and maintain automated systems (PLCs, HMIs, Robots, SCADA) for an automated medical device assembly line.
and troubleshoot PLC code, HMI and Robot programs.
and troubleshoot vision systems.
in troubleshooting laser welders and heat staking machines.
in troubleshooting of material feed systems.
in the maintenance of the automation shop floor network.
documenting issues and troubleshooting.
new staff to operate automation equipment.
software licenses for multiple platforms.
with third-party vendors to keep the automated equipment running efficiently.
and maintaining SDLC documentation.
Qualifications:
Sigma/Lean training
training or equivalent technical qualifications
Education and Experience
degree in Automation, IT or related Engineering field
least 5-years experience with relevant, HMIs, PLCs, robots, SCADA and vision systems.
of 3 years of cGMP experience.
to 20% travel required.
with the following systems a plus: (Rockwell Software – LogixDesigner(5000), FactoryTalk, Magnemotion Conveyors, Staubli Robots, Cognex/Keyence Vision Systems, Branson Laser Welder
