Structural Designers - Mid - Lead level

Duties/Responsibilities

Coordinate structural design on multidiscipline project teams including Architectural, Mechanical, Electrical, Piping/Plumbing (MEP) professionals.

Preparation of drawings and 3D models for cleanrooms, laboratories, chemical or gas storage rooms and support facilities; Generate material take offs.

BIM Design Coordination between disciplines

Integrate submittals, manufacturers data and as-built information into the BIM Model and Perform QA drafting check on design drawings.

Coordinate with other disciplines for ID check, clash report and review vendor drawings

Present 30% 60% 90% design reviews to stakeholders and multi-discipline teams

Comply with all Company and HSE procedures and policies.

Work with other disciplines to find solutions

Required Skills

in Autodesk AutoCAD. Revit, Navisworks, and BIM360

to multi-task and be flexible/adapt to rapidly changing project requirements/timelines

team player to promote a good working environment.

Job History, ability to work in team environment and communicates technical solution effectively is required.

Education and Experience

School diploma. Associate degree in Computer Aided Drafting preferred and 3 years of relevant experience or 10 years of experience in structural design of commercial, industrial, or manufacturing industries.

AEC or EPC experience is required.
