The Heavy Equipment Sales Representative is responsible for meeting the needs of customers by matching the right equipment for the customer’s job. Qualified candidates must have knowledge of the following equipment: articulating dump trucks, excavators, bulldozers, and wheel loaders, etc.

Job duties include:

Call on and travel to companies and businesses to sell industrial equipment, as well as provide recommendations for upgrades or replacements on customer’s existing equipment.

Provide competitive information for bids, pricing and potential bundling arrangements for units and parts.

Perform product demonstrations, installations and application support.

Take orders and deliver products, including providing consistent, effective communication with the customer on delivery schedules, repair estimates, etc.

Continually improve product knowledge and sales techniques.

Identify and communicate solutions for customer service opportunities in the dealership’s area of responsibility.

Manage and develop new customers, while maintaining existing sales.

Follow all safety rules and regulations while performing work assignments.

Maintain a positive and professional working relationship with coworkers, with a strong commitment to teamwork and exemplary customer service.
