Job Summary

As a social media and communications intern, you will be working with our Personal Care Brands, helping to manage their social media presence, influencer partnerships and incoming social media and email correspondence. You will play a vital role in enhancing our online presence and engaging with our audience across our social media platforms, primarily Instagram and TikTok. This role offers a dynamic opportunity to gain hands-on experience in social media management and communications while contributing to the growth of our brand's online community.

Essential Functions

Social Media Management: Assist in the management of the social media profiles for our Personal Care Brands, including content creation, scheduling, and posting across platforms.

Community Engagement: Monitor and respond to incoming messages, comments, and inquiries on social media platforms to maintain a positive and engaging online presence.

Influencer Outreach and Management: Collaborate with the marketing team to identify, reach out to, and manage relationships with influencers and brand ambassadors to enhance brand visibility and reach.

Content Creation: Contribute to the creation of engaging and visually appealing social media content, including graphics, videos, and captions, aligned with brand guidelines and marketing objectives.

Social Media Analytics: Assist in monitoring and analyzing social media performance metrics, including engagement, reach, and conversion rates, to identify trends and opportunities for optimization.

Email Management: Manage incoming emails to our Marketing inbox, including inquiries, partnership opportunities, and customer support requests, ensuring timely responses and resolution.

Collaboration: Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, design, and sales, to align social media efforts with overall marketing strategies and brand messaging.

Research and Trends: Stay informed about industry trends, social media best practices, and emerging platforms to propose innovative ideas and strategies for enhancing our online presence.

Additional Responsibilities

Support of and involvement in company, department, and/or safety policies, procedures, programs and activities.

Maintain a clean and orderly work area.

Job Qualifications

Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or a related field.

Strong understanding of social media platforms, including Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook etc., and their respective best practices.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft engaging social media content, captions, and responses.

Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment, with strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Self-motivated and proactive with a willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and trends in social media marketing.

Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to meet deadlines and work collaboratively in a team environment.

Basic graphic design skills and proficiency in photo and video editing software (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite) preferred but not required.

Experience with influencer outreach, management, and partnership collaborations is a plus.
