Delphi Capital Management (“DCM”) is a subsidiary of Tokio Marine Holdings and serves as the investment manager for its USD investment portfolios and to other TM group companies. DCM has $50B AUM and a strong proven track record of profitable growth.

We are looking for associate to senior level Credit Analysts to join our NYC team and generate investment recommendations for the firm’s corporate portfolio, containing US high-yield/investment grade and emerging markets credits. Candidates should have 5-10 years of direct experience in fundamental credit analysis in the aforementioned credits and in specific sector coverage.

Job Description

Our team is comprised of investment managers and analysts who report to the Chief Investment Officer. The Credit Analyst will:

Work closely with the CIO and PMs in sourcing and assessing buy/sell opportunities in HY/IG and monitoring positions in the portfolio.

Complement the existing research effort by conducting deep fundamental analysis on respective coverage sectors.

Develop valuation screens/models to highlight opportunities across/within fixed-income sectors.

Have a strong understanding of covenants/indentures.

Maintain an understanding of relevant sector dynamics and be able to leverage fundamental and quantitative screens to narrow towards key investment ideas.

Effectively communicate, articulate, and defend investment thesis.

Construct comprehensive written investment reports.

The ideal candidate must have technical and modeling skills meet the following requirements:

5-10 years of experience as a Credit Research analyst in buyside credit, sell side research, investment banking, or ratings agencies, ideally in High Yield/Leveraged Loan credit analysis

Strong knowledge of financial accounting, capital structure, and financial forecasting

4 -year degree from top tier accredited college or university - MBA and/or CFA designation is a plus

Excellent bottom-up financial modeling and analytical skills with an understanding of top-down thematic views

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and the ability to apply them to a range of sectors and investment situations

Results-oriented with a proven ability to work in a fast-paced and collaborative environment

Able to operate autonomously and think independently

Strong organizational skills, accuracy, and attention to detail

Excellent people skills with superior verbal and written communication skills

Entrepreneurial mindset while being a dynamic team player

Proactive and flexible individual, who is strategic but hands-on, organized and provides clear priorities and goals

Compensation

Base range of 125-175k depending on experience

Performance-based bonus
