Sands Anderson PC is seeking a dynamic and experienced Chief Financial Officer (CFO)/Chief Operating Officer (COO) to join our team and help drive our firm's growth and operational excellence. As the CFO/COO, you will be a key member of our leadership team, responsible for overseeing and optimizing the day-to-day operations of our law firm.

Job Requirements:

Manage the firm's financial resources, including budgeting and financial forecasting.

Analyze and report on key performance metrics to drive informed decision-making.

Develop and implement strategies to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness.

Lead and mentor the firm's administrative and support staff, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.

Oversee human resources functions, including recruitment, talent development, and performance management.

Collaborate with legal partners and senior management to set and achieve strategic goals.

Ensure compliance with legal regulations, ethics, and industry standards.

Foster a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and client service excellence.

Qualifications:

Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field. MBA or CPA strongly preferred.

Proven experience (15+ years) in a senior finance leadership role, as a CFO or VP of Finance, within a law firm.

Strong financial acumen with a deep understanding of financial principles, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements.

Demonstrated expertise in financial planning and analysis, budgeting, and forecasting.

Experience leading M&A transactions, including due diligence, valuation, and integration.

Strategic thinker with a track record of driving financial performance and creating shareholder value.

Strong leadership and team-building skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate cross-functional teams.

Results-oriented mindset with a focus on delivering measurable business outcomes.

Excellent leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills.

Knowledge of legal industry practices and trends.

Demonstrated ability to drive operational excellence and lead cross-functional teams.
