Electrical Engineer

As an Engineer Sr., you will conduct technical and economic evaluations, performance testing, design and construction of new and existing facilities, and research on new developments, applying your strong understanding of industry and operational requirements. Taking initiative and anticipating customer needs will make you a stand-out player. Confidence in presentation-making and the ability to work independently and as a team leader are also vital in this role!

You will own the electrical design for small to large sized natural gas projects (valve sites, meter stations, compressor stations, etc.), and provide technical recommendations in the design, construction, and modification of electrical systems at new and existing facilities. The Sr. Engineer will account for a diverse range of sophisticated assignments requiring the use of experience, innovation and judgment and anticipate internal/external customer needs; assess requirements and identify solutions. You will interpret internal/external business challenges and improve products, processes or services, as well as, collaborate with teams to ensure compliance, build improvement plans and meet training needs. The Sr. Engineer will monitor and control costs and resources associated with projects, and identify project roadblocks and work to formulate solutions to overcome problems.

Required Skills and Experience:

* Bachelor's Degree in relevant Engineering field from an accredited college or university, OR Bachelor's Degree in Engineering Technology in a relevant field with Professional Engineer (P.E.) license; A minimum eight (8) years of multifaceted engineering experience in the natural gas or petrochemical industry

* Working knowledge of electrical design codes (NEC, NEMA, API, IEEE, etc.)

* Demonstrates excellent organizational/interpersonal skills and safety as a main priority

* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Application and PC skills

* Proficiency in engineering specialties covering more than one subject area

* EATP or SKM knowledge
