As a Manufacturing Technical Applications Specialist, you will apply IS manufacturing knowledge and expertise to select and deploy manufacturing solutions across divisions production sites. You will be a key resource and a definitive source of knowledge about manufacturing systems who contributes to enhance operations efficiency and support the organization's vision and strategic direction.

This role is hybrid, based in either Cary NC, Memphis TN or Phoenix AZ

Your responsibilities

Act as the technical leader and the IS/IT SME for the operations in providing expertise related to Manufacturing Systems

Participate in solution evaluation and selection. Be responsible for technical requirements management

Be responsible for business processes execution within Manufacturing Systems

Support systems integration and data management for project, dashboards, reports, and migration

Facilitate the integration of manufacturing systems data within the analytics platform and data warehouse

Troubleshoot any problems and propose efficient solutions

Translate business requirements into high-quality system requirement specifications

Perform business analysis with process workflow diagrams, design, and gap analysis

Contribute to project design accordingly with the IT compliance framework and architecture rules

Assist with user acceptance testing for implementation and enhancements

Manage small/medium projects with scoping, planning, implementation estimates, delivery management complying with agreed timeline and budget

Update the existing documentation and trainings upon the changes and evolutions

Roll-out the projects and changes into production system following the IT Change Control processes

Use Agile methodology to accelerate implementation and foster on business value

Manage upgrade strategies across all systems, software, and databases

Be responsible for the project documentation in all the project phases

Provide instructions to development teams and ensure that the people skills are aligned with the manufacturing applications portfolio

Manage subcontractors involved in projects and support activities

Your background

Require Bachelor’s degree with 10 plus years of experience in management of applications for manufacturing operations

5 plus years of experience effectively implementing MES or/and CMMS systems for manufacturing

Excellent knowledge of manufacturing technologies and processes, quality, planning and technologies like MES, CMMS, QMS and PLM

Experience with solutions deployment in multiple sites and countries

Experience with ERP integration and ERP processes

Experience with database, data architecture and query languages

Excellent technical and analytical problem-solving skills

Leadership in solutioning and proactively proposing improvement

Excellent communication and ability to work in a multi-cultural environment

Highly effective at business process and business systems analysis

Effective team member with demonstrated leadership, team working, organization and time management skills
