The primary responsibility of the Account Supervisor is to provide day-to-day account support to one or more federal Clients.

The Account Supervisor will act as the primary liaison between the senior-level client contacts (East Coast) and the VPs of Brand Management (West Coast). In this role, the individual will be immersed in the day-to-day operations of the account(s), ensuring seamless communication and project progression. They will be present on all client calls, meticulously documenting discussions, and action items to ensure nothing falls through the cracks. With a talent for multitasking, the Account Supervisor will navigate various platforms to collaborate effectively with diverse client marketing teams, overseeing and steering all marketing and branding initiatives for the client. This role demands a highly organized, proactive individual with a keen eye for detail and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring that all client needs are met with the highest standards of excellence.

RESPONSIBILITIES / GENERAL DUTIES

· Client Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for the client, facilitating open and effective communication between the client and the agency. This involves understanding the client's needs, expectations, and feedback, and conveying these accurately to the relevant agency teams.

· Project Management: Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of marketing campaigns and branding initiatives. This includes setting timelines, coordinating between different departments (such as creative, media, and digital), and ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the client's satisfaction.

· Strategic Planning Support: Work closely with the client and internal teams to develop strategic marketing plans that align with the client's business objectives and brand identity. This may involve supporting market research, analyzing trends, and making recommendations that will drive brand growth and engagement.

· Meeting and Call Facilitation: Attend all client meetings and calls, taking comprehensive notes and ensuring that action items are recorded and followed up on. This also involves preparing meeting agendas, reports, and presentations as needed.

· Quality Control: Ensure that all marketing materials and communications meet the agency's and client's quality standards. This involves reviewing creative outputs, campaign messages, and media plans for accuracy, brand alignment, and effectiveness.

· Reporting and Analysis: Work with/support the Agency Media team(s) to monitor and report on the performance of marketing campaigns, providing insights and analysis to the client and agency teams. This includes evaluating metrics, identifying areas for improvement, and making data-driven recommendations for future strategies.

· Financial Management Support: Assist in managing the account budget, ensuring that financial arrangements with the client are adhered to and the Agency is working within the specified contracted hours.

· Problem Solving: Assist the management team in addressing and resolving any issues that arise with the client, from project challenges to concerns about campaign performance, ensuring timely and satisfactory resolutions.

This role requires a blend of strategic thinking, creative problem-solving, and excellent communication and organizational skills, with a focus on delivering exceptional service and results for the client.

Bachelor’s Degree

Qualifications

§ U.S. Citizenship

§ Must have the ability to obtain and maintain U.S. Government contractor employment suitability determination (i.e. personnel security clearance)

Special Knowledge or Skills [Software]

· Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint)

· Communication platforms such as Microsoft Teams; Google Workspace

Prior Experience

· Will normally have completed 5-8 years working in account management in an advertising agency or similar marketing services agency.
