Full Stack Engineer

We are looking for a driven Full Stack Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have solid experience in GoLang and Java, along with a thorough understanding of Amazon Web Services (AWS) and cloud technologies. This role involves both front-end and back-end development tasks, ranging from customer-facing user interfaces to complex back-office applications. You will play a pivotal role in digital transformation projects that are critical to our product's growth and success, which includes a rapidly expanding portfolio.

Note: This is a Hybrid Role, requiring 3 days a week in office in McLean, VA.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain robust full-stack applications using GoLang and Java.

Implement and optimize cloud-based solutions, primarily in AWS.

Work with Amazon EMR systems to ensure effective integration and optimal performance.

Engage in all phases of the software development lifecycle, including requirement analysis, design, development, testing, and deployment.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address complex technical challenges.

Contribute to sprint planning, team ceremonies, and proactive discussions, showing initiative and strong communication skills.

Qualifications:

Proven expertise in GoLang and Java with at least 1-2 years of experience in GoLang.

Strong familiarity with AWS and cloud service architectures.

Desirable knowledge of Amazon EMR systems.

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a complex technical environment.

Excellent problem-solving capabilities and the ability to work collaboratively in a team.

Strong communication skills and the confidence to speak up and share ideas in team settings.

Experience with CI/CD processes, DevOps practices, and production support.

Knowledge of testing, automation frameworks, test cases, and scripting.

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
