Job Responsibilities:

Complete configuration, installation and support of equipment to the specifications of the business.

Maintain software applications and operating systems through regular maintenance.

Maintain configuration and support documentation.

Manage assigned projects and program components to deliver services in accordance with established objectives.

Supervise the administration of systems and servers to ensure availability of services to authorized users.

Maintain multi-site network operations, software applications, operating systems through regular maintenance.

Troubleshoot malfunctions of hardware, software applications and security systems to resolve operational issues and restore services.

As a DevOps system engineering expert on the team, you will act as automation DevOps engineer for storage and backup engineering team.

As a valuable colleague on our team, you will design, develop, test, and maintain moderate to complex cloud automation templates for AWS Cloud, Google cloud using terraform and in the future Azure for our storage and data protection services and solutions.

Required Experience:

- Extensive knowledge in backup, recovery, and data protection solutions for the hybrid multi-cloud (On-prem, AWS Cloud, Azure, GCP, etc.…)

- Knowledge of writing infrastructure as code (IaC) using CloudFormation, Terraform.

- Experience defining and managing changes to documents, code, computer programs, and other files to enable collaboration and ensure teams are working from the latest version

- Experience with CICD pipelines (i.e. Jenkins, Gitlab, or other tools) with building and/or configuring pipelines for build and deployment of software

- Experience in DevOps infrastructure automation (Puppet, Ansible, Chef, etc).

Tools

- Skilled in Amazon Web Services (AWS) offerings and development

- Skilled in AWS Management and Governance suite of products such as CloudTrail, CloudWatch and integration with Splunk.

- Experience using JIRA

- Experience using Git

- Skilled in using UNIX

- Skilled in AWS Developer tools (CI/CD) such as CodeBuild, CodeDeploy, CodeStar, or CodePipeline

- Scripting and automation (PowerShell, Bash, etc.)

Education/Experience:

Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as computer science, computer engineering or related field required.

5-7 years experience required.

Broad knowledge of IT Systems engineering.

Experience with system capacity and planning, as well as functional configuration and audit.

Experience with system planning and capacity tools and analyses.
