Construction Engineer

Must-haves:

- 6-8 years of related experience

- Must have practical experience in conducting laboratory testing, construction observation, field quality assurance testing, site grading, and supervising construction materials testing

- Must have a P.E. license

- BS or MS in Civil Engineering

Plusses:

Geotechnical background

Schedule:

5 days a week on site

8 - 5pm

Some travel to other work sites but not a travel role

Day to Day:

* This position requires a commitment to managing the department for continued growth with a strong emphasis on marketing and business development.

* The Construction Materials Department Manager oversees and manages the materials testing and all laboratory operations.

* Other responsibilities include leading and mentoring a team of engineers and project managers, overseeing projects, performing report reviews, preparing proposals, managing departmental P&L, and assisting other senior staff in marketing our services by maintaining and developing client interactions.
