Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role as a Chef de Cuisine at St Roch Fine Oysters and Bar located in Raleigh, NC. As a Chef de Cuisine, you will be responsible for overseeing kitchen operations, managing kitchen staff, and ensuring the quality and consistency of the food served. You will collaborate with the culinary team to develop innovative menus, execute food preparation and plating, and maintain a safe and sanitary kitchen environment. The Chef de Cuisine will also contribute to menu planning, inventory management, and cost control initiatives.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Chef de Cuisine or similar role

Strong knowledge of culinary techniques and practices

Ability to create and execute innovative menus

Excellent leadership and management skills

Ability to manage and train kitchen staff

Strong organizational and time management skills

Knowledge of health and safety regulations

Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Culinary degree or equivalent experience

Attention to detail and high standards for quality

Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
