We are seeking an enthusiastic, dedicated, and innovative Protein Characterization Scientist to join our dynamic team. This full-time, permanent position is an excellent opportunity for a scientist who is passionate about utilizing their skills to make a significant impact in the scientific industry. As a Protein Characterization Scientist, you will have the chance to work on groundbreaking projects, collaborate with a team of experts, and contribute to the development of cutting-edge technologies and products.

Responsibilities:

As a Protein Characterization Scientist, you will be responsible for:

1. Leading the design, execution, and interpretation of protein characterization studies using a variety of biophysical techniques.

2. Performing assays such as ELISA, SDS-PAGE, and Western Blot to analyze protein samples.

3. Culturing cells and using these cultures to produce and purify proteins.

4. Participating in tech transfer activities, including the development and optimization of methods and protocols.

5. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure the delivery of high-quality results within project timelines.

6. Maintaining accurate and detailed laboratory records and presenting findings in team meetings.

7. Staying updated on the latest scientific literature and incorporating new methodologies into the lab as necessary.

8. Ensuring compliance with all safety and quality control standards.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate for this role should possess:

1. A Bachelor or Master's degree in Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, or a related field.

2. A minimum of 2 years of experience in protein characterization, including experience with ELISA, SDS-PAGE, and Western Blot.

3. Experience with cell culture techniques.

4. A strong understanding of tech transfer processes.

5. Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team.

6. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.

7. Strong written and verbal communication skills.

8. Experience within a CRO or CDMO is a plus
