Job Details

Responsibilities:

Oversee all stages of project life cycle, manage construction activities, and ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and in accordance with project specifications.

Develop and manage project schedules, identifying and addressing any potential issues or delays.

Manage all onsite and offsite constructions to monitor compliance with building and safety regulations.

Coordinate and direct construction workers and subcontractors, ensuring all tasks are carried out effectively and efficiently.

Review and interpret blueprints, plans, and specifications to determine construction requirements and plan procedures.

Implement and enforce quality control and safety measures on the construction site, ensuring all workers adhere to safety rules and regulations.

Manage the procurement of materials and equipment, ensuring timely delivery and proper storage.

Conduct risk management processes to identify, assess, and minimize project risks.

Prepare internal and external reports pertaining to job status, daily progress, estimates, and deliverables.

Negotiate terms of agreements, draft contracts, and obtain necessary permits and licenses.

Qualifications:

A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Superintendent or in a similar role in the construction industry.

Proven experience in project management, scheduling, and budgeting.

Strong knowledge of construction procedures, equipment, and OSHA guidelines.

Excellent knowledge of construction material procurement and subcontractor management.

Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and construction plans.

Exceptional leadership and time management skills.

Strong problem-solving abilities and a hands-on approach to work.

Excellent communication and negotiation skills.

Proven ability to manage and control project costs.

Strong understanding of construction estimating and planning.

Proficiency in risk and safety management.

Bachelor’s degree in construction management, architecture, engineering, or related field is preferred.

Certifications in construction management or related field will be a plus.
