Qualifications and Experience:

BSc Degree in Mining Engineering

Mine Managers Certificate of Competency

10 Years underground mining experience Conventional and board and pillar mining

Computer Literate

Blasting Ticket

Strong knowledge of mining operations and regulations

Duties:

Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation, regulations and company policies

Assist in developing and implementing strategies to optimize production and minimize costs

Assist in ensuring effective utilization of resources, including equipment, labour and materials

Assist in monitoring key performance indicators to track progress and identify areas of improvement

Collaborate with stakeholders, key suppliers and service providers

Assist in preparing and presenting regular reports to senior management on operational performance and strategic initiatives
