Structural Engineer

As a Structural Engineer with JDI, you’ll bring your expertise to the table, with a minimum of 5 years of experience in industrial and commercial settings.

A Bachelor’s degree in Civil or a similar engineering curriculum with a structural emphasis is required, and Professional Registration is a definite plus.

Key Responsibilities: Perform structural analysis of various building systems to ensure safety and compliance Coordinate structural design details with JDI’s architectural and other internal engineering disciplines Visit job sites to gather field data for retrofit projects, ensuring accuracy and feasibility Work directly with clients throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring their needs are met and expectations exceeded Produce CAD drawings of approved designs for bid and permitting processes To excel in this role, you’ll need proficiency in AutoCAD, and experience with Revit is a definite plus.

Your ability to collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team and communicate complex ideas will be essential to your success.
