Our client, a leading school supply and teaching materials company, is in search of a skilled Bid Analyst/Contract Specialist to join their dynamic team. This freelance role is based at our headquarters in Carson and offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the efficient administration of bids and contracts.

We are currently searching for a Bid Analyst/Contract Specialist in our Bid Department at our Carson headquarters to facilitate the efficient administration of bids, bid reviews and associated bid documentation. Successful candidates will have excellent customer service and must be outcome-oriented. The ability to work in a fast-paced environment with strong attention to detail is essential. You will be fully engaged and busy from the first day and we guarantee there will never be a dull moment.

This role is hybrid out of their Carson HQ.

Rate: $30-$38/per hour

Type: Contract with the potential for full-time

Responsibilities:

Prepare and generate all necessary documentation for Requests for Bids (RFBs), Requests for Proposals (RFPs), and Requests for Quotations (RFQs) according to customer requirements and deadlines.

Ensure bids are properly formatted, organized, and presented in alignment with customer preferences.

Conduct thorough reviews of outgoing bids and projects to identify and rectify any inconsistencies or inaccuracies that may render the bid non-responsive.

Collaborate extensively with internal departments and external vendors to gather necessary information and ensure bid accuracy.

Provide exceptional customer service to our clients throughout the bidding process.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

2-3 years of experience in reviewing and responding to RFBs, RFPs, and RFQs.

Proficiency in reviewing, understanding, and interpreting contractual language.

Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with impeccable accuracy and attention to detail.

Comfortable working under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Strong problem-solving skills and a sense of urgency.

Self-motivated with excellent time-management and organizational abilities.

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook); experience with Adobe and Salesforce is a plus.

Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

Outstanding ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment.

Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
