Position: Temporary IT Support Specialist - MAC Experience Required

Location: George Town - Washington, DC

Duration: Temporary position from May to September with a possibility of extension to the end of the year.

Job Description:

The Temporary IT Support Specialist will play a crucial role in assisting our educational institution with various IT tasks during the summer period. The ideal candidate will possess expertise in hardware deployment and laptop imaging within MAC environments. Moreover, they should be adept at troubleshooting IT issues and providing excellent customer service, as they will interact with staff, faculty, and students on a regular basis.

Responsibilities:

- Deploy hardware and perform laptop imaging tasks within MAC environments.

- Troubleshoot IT issues promptly and efficiently to minimize downtime.

- Provide technical support to end-users, including staff and students, ensuring their needs are met effectively.

- Collaborate with IT team members to resolve complex technical issues and contribute to ongoing projects.

- Maintain accurate records of IT support activities and documentation as required.

Requirements:

- Prior experience in hardware deployment and laptop imaging within MAC environments.

- Proficiency in IT troubleshooting techniques.

- Strong interpersonal and customer service skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with individuals at all levels.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

- Must be comfortable working in an educational setting and around children.

- Ability to pass a background check.

Preferred:

- Experience working within the education industry.

- A+ Certification or equivalent IT certifications.

Duration: Temporary position from May to September with a possibility of extension to the end of the year.
