Electrical Engineer Supervisor

This renowned company has a rich history of leadership in the industry, committed to delivering essential resources on a global scale.Currently, they are actively searching for an Electrical Engineer Supervisor, a senior-level role involving traditional design engineering and analysis. The primary objective of this position is to make significant contributions to a two-year Hydrocarbon Processing (HPI) project that covers a wide spectrum of areas, including petroleum refining, gas processing, petrochemicals, and chemical technologies. There's also a possibility of involvement in other energy sectors. Key responsibilities encompass leading technical design engineering, assuming project leadership roles, developing electrical drawings, engaging with clients and vendors, ensuring quality assurance, and providing mentorship to junior engineers.

Key responsibilities for this role will include (but not limited to):

engineering calculations and deliverables using established methods.

complex research and provide equipment/materials recommendations.

to budget, schedule, and quality requirements.

Required and desired skillsets, experience and qualifications for this role:

degree in engineering from an accredited program.

least 11 years of related work experience.

Engineer (PE) Certification.

in electrical engineering within relevant industries.

with the NEC (NFPA 70 National Electrical Code).

with hazardous area classifications.

with electrical system analysis software (e.g., ETAP or SKM).

of industrial power distribution system designs.

with MV and LV switchgear, MCC’s, VFD’s, power distribution transformers, batteries, and UPS.

with protective relay settings and equipment sizing calculations associated with power distribution equipment.

to complete pre-employment onboarding requirements, including background checks and screenings in compliance with applicable laws and regulations.

to utilize Excel spreadsheets, create excel trackers, and be able to use Word and Powerpoint for reporting/presentations via teams or in person.
