This project will develop a framework/methodology for using LLM generated hypotheses in conjunction with causal discovery methods over large graph spaces -- in particular for the application to radiation biology for which we already have multimodal data and generated LLM hypotheses. The development of an end to end method will potentially accelerate discovery in three ways (1) Knowledge discovery of the relevant causal graph which is only partially known (2) AI guided experimental design through targeted causal interventions (3) Improvement in generated hypotheses through feedback of invalidated or validated hypotheses

Education and Experience Requirements

•Must be currently enrolled full-time at an accredited institution and have completed at least one semester of schooling by the start of the program.

•Must be 18 years or older at the time the appointment begins.

•Must possess a cumulative GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.

•If accepting an offer, must pass a screening drug test.
