JOB TITLE:Product Review Engineer 3

LOCATION:Huntsville, Alabama

ONSITE REQUIREMENT:Will be sitting on a site at a supplier in Huntsville, AL

SHIFTS:first, 7am-3:30pm

DURATION:12 months

JOB DESCRIPTION:

* Apply design principles to resolve product/process issues throughout the lifecycle.

* Analyze and address design non-conformances using root cause analysis.

* Research and design engineering solutions for technical, operational, and quality issues.

* Document and communicate deviations that could affect safety and design intent, managing their resolution.

* Implement product/process improvements and support Integrated Product Teams (IPT).

* Ensure supplier compliance with standards and support equipment maintenance.

* Participate in on-site product repair teams and accident investigations.

* Analyze damage repair and design structural modifications for safety and effectiveness.

* Develop non-destructive test procedures and conduct static strength analysis.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

Engineering Judgment & Liaison:

* Utilize engineering judgment to ensure product design integrity, considering decision criteria and implications.

* Involve others in the decision-making process to gather relevant information.

Repair Methodology & Maintenance:

* Understand repair concepts, including repair station processes, component repair, and warranty procedures.

* Knowledgeable in maintenance, retrofit practices, and unplanned event systems.

Engineering Documentation & Review Process:

* Interpret engineering drawings and specifications effectively.

* Familiarity with Universal Product Review (UPR) processes, including Material Review Authorization (MRA) and Materials Review Board (MRB) procedures, as well as supplier delegated MRB processes.

PREFERRED SKILLS:

* Material Review Board experience [MRB]

* Direct shopfloor / MRO [Maintenance Repair Overhaul facility] / Production/Manufacturing support experience

* Rotary wing experience [operations/maintenance/field support/manufacturing] preferred
