Traffic Control Technician

Job Description

Alert-O-Lite is seeking a motivated and responsible Traffic Control Tech to join our team! The right individual will be able to perform critical tasks timely, accurately, and independently with minimal supervision.

Duties include:

Handling the loading and unloading of traffic control equipment.

Setting up and maintaining traffic control equipment, including cones, signs, barricades, and flashing lights.

Directing traffic at intersections, construction zones, and events using hand signals, signs, and verbal communication.

Getting equipment and barricade signs ready for orders or inventory.

Reporting any equipment malfunctions, safety hazards, or unusual incidents to supervisors.

Ensuring all delivery tags are filled out completely and accurately.

Adhering to all safety protocols and regulations.

Consistently updating and managing all necessary paperwork.

Assisting in various duties in the barricade shop and yard.

The successful candidate must have:

High school diploma or equivalent.

Valid CA driver's license with a clean driving record.

Must pass pre-employment requirements, drug & alcohol test and background check.

Ability to stand for extended periods, work in various weather conditions, and lift traffic control equipment.

Previous experience in traffic control and/or certification.

Forklift experience/certification.Company Description
